In 2016 Yokogawa acquired KBC to extend its business portfolio from plant floor to boardroom of our clients. Since that time, as the Head of Yokogawa Industrial Automation Business, I have been working with KBC colleagues.  In 2021, I arrived in the UK to lead this consulting and technology company to provide the comprehensive solution for decarbonization and energy management with our DX capability. I’m excited because our high-quality products: AI/ML solutions empowered by process knowledge, cloud application with sophisticated plant data access, rich project execution capability, service network around the world and consulting capability.  We can change the world with our clients to pass this beautiful planet to the next generation as it is or even better condition. I love travelling to capture the beautiful sceneries and enjoy wines especially in Europe. My wife and a NIKON full frame camera are my buddy of travels.

I am responsible for KBC’s software technology business. I am passionate about KBC’s role in sustainability, decarbonization and digital transformation in the energy industries and I am fully accountable for customer value. I obtained a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK and gained first class operations experience from Shell, BP and Schlumberger in my career.  I have expert skills in process and production simulation and my best moment in KBC is when Petro-SIM won Hydrocarbon Technology’s ‘Best Digital Twin Technology’ award! I am equally passionate about motorcycles and avidly follow British Superbikes and MOTOGP! In my spare time I can be found riding or maintaining my Yamaha YZF-R1 or listening to my Harley Davidson XL Forty-Eight!

I am responsible for the financial leadership of KBC, since Yokogawa acquired it in 2016. I have been at Yokogawa for 30 years, and for the most part, never had a boring year!  

I divide my time with a global role in Yokogawa, where I work with the Yokogawa Financial Directors around the globe. My career began at Deloitte, after which I moved to work for my then client, Yokogawa.  

I have spent 13 years as the CFO in USA, based in Houston, Texas.  Over the years, I have served in global positions in Tokyo and Singapore.  Graduating from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and I’m also a CPA.  

What I like most about KBC/Yokogawa, is the collaborative nature of the people, and the fact that I get to work with a wonderful team of financial professionals!  

I am responsible for KBC’s global organizational development and HR strategy, and also a part of the Yokogawa Global HR leadership team. I have over 20 years' international HR experience at both strategic and operational level. Prior to joining KBC, I was Director of HR covering Europe, Middle East and Africa for PRG, the world's leading supplier of entertainment and event technology.  I have also held various HR management roles within the entertainment and retail industries. As a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, I also hold a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management. Time with my family, travelling and walking the dogs by the River Thames are all things I enjoy in my spare time.

I am thrilled to lead the Global Technology Services group.  We are focused on building a partnership with our customers through a holistic approach to customer success via excellence in all our deliverables in the areas of simulation, energy and digital transformation, among others.  My understanding and expertise of customer success comes from involvement in different areas of the customer and product lifecycle, such as Services, Product Management, Technical Sales and Business Development. I hold an MA in Economics from the University of Houston and BA in Economics from the University of Puerto Rico. If I’m not passionately fiercely advocating for my customers, you can find me either at the beach enjoying the sun, or at a baseball game, Go Astros!

I am responsible for KBC’s consulting and solution global sales, and the sales co-ordination with KBC’s parent company, Yokogawa. After graduating from the University of Surrey as a Chemical Engineer, I started my career with Mobil Oil (now ExxonMobil) where I had a number of technical, operational and planning positions. These roles gave me a great grounding in the industry and gave me first hand experience of many of the issues of maintaining safe operation and optimizing a large complex plant.  I started at KBC as a consultant and project manager before moving into business development and have led sales teams around the world.

What brings this role to life is engaging with our clients to understand their challenges and constraints and working with them to define, develop and implement practical solutions that will solve those problems, accelerate value capture and ensure the change is sustained.  

In my spare time, keeping fit is my passion which involves cycling, swimming and playing (field) hockey.

I am responsible for the technical direction of KBC, directly leading our Technology R&D program, for keeping the Global Leadership Team informed on technical matters affecting the company and for technical liaison with Yokogawa. I also head the Technology Delivery teams, covering Digital, IT and Modelling Services, Support and Training. I'm based in Calgary, Canada after many years with KBC in the UK working on designing and building much of process simulation technology that underpins our business. My experience spans across supply chain applications covering planning, scheduling and production accounting and I see this as a ripe area for disruption through new technologies underpinning digital transformation. Prior to joining KBC, I was a postgraduate researcher in dynamic process simulation at the University of Edinburgh, building on my degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University. In my spare time I can often be found in the kitchen, where I enjoy making the complex appear simple, or in the great outdoors of western Canada.

I manage KBC's global consulting delivery team focusing on operational efficiency, quality and value delivery. Based in the UK, I have over 35 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Utilities and IT Consulting. Having graduated in Chemical Engineering from Manchester University, and roles in process contracting and safety engineering I joined BP Oil International. Over 20 years I held leadership roles in Refinery and Terminal Distribution Technology, UK Supply Operations, and Programme Director Roles delivering Y2K, Sarbanes-Oxley and the Global Oil Trading Credit Risk System. I subsequently worked in commodities trading and utilities before joining Wipro Technologies where I ran the Energy Vertical Transformation & Change function working on programmes in the UK, Toronto and India. I enjoy cycling, hiking, and very leisurely tennis doubles. Having recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro I'm now looking for my next challenge.
